Grr!

Hello,

So I have finally gotten round to writing up the pattern for this cute little guy thanks to being let home early from work due to losing my voice, which isn’t helpful when you work in a call centre, but never mind. I hope you like the pattern, I love him to bits, cute monsters are the best. I can’t decide if he is a monster or a dinosaur so I just called him Grr. 2. I think this is a great pattern because you cannot tell what it is! Little boys love stuff like that ^^ Did you make up the pattern as you went along, or is it partly based on another design?

  7. He is so adorable!!! But, I have a question. On row 25, where you start decreasing, you say to "sc 4, dec" around with 36 stitches total. Unless I'm missing something, that leaves you with 7 groups of 5, or 35 stitches. Is it supposed to be sc 5, then dec? That would yield 36 stitches. I just wasn't sure whether to decrease more rapidly to make him a bit flatter on bottom or whether he has the same decrease as he had increase, if that makes sense?

  8. Ahh, sometimes I might end up with an extra stitch at the end and I havn't mentioned it in the pattern, oops, thanks for pointing that out. Hope that helps
